We are proud to announce that the East Texas Food Bank is being considered for a Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Award. The annual grant program recognizes nonprofit organizations that are making a positive impact in their local communities.
We encourage everyone to vote through the Chick-fil-A App to help continue the mission of the East Texas Food Bank: To Fight Hunger and Feed Hope in East Texas.
Members of Chick-fil-A One® – the brand’s free rewards program – are able to vote for nonprofits in their region through the Chick-fil-A App.

Since October 1988, the East Texas Food Bank, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has provided food to over 200 partner agencies and food programs, in an effort to feed
children, the working poor and seniors throughout 26 counties in East Texas. A member of Feeding America, The East Texas Food Bank is one of four food banks that serves
the Gulf Coast Region who are pre-staged with food products from Feeding America, to respond to disasters.
The True Inspiration Awards® program was created in 2015 to honor the legacy of Chick-fil-A® founder S. Truett Cathy. Through these annual grants, it is our pleasure to
celebrate and support nonprofit organizations making an impact in their local communities. True Inspiration Awards grants range from $30,000 to $350,000, with $6 million awarded in 2026 to organizations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Singapore.
