Dennis Cullinane
Chief Executive Officer

Dennis joined the East Texas Food Bank team in March 2010 from San Marcos, California where he was the Senior Vice President of Operations for a leading provider of high volume contract food, merchandise and facility management services to major convention, sports and cultural attraction facilities in North America. His combined 40 years’ experience in the food industry has given him valuable experience in organizational development, strategic team building, financial analysis, financial/budget administration, project management warehousing, inventory management and distribution pipelines. Dennis is currently serving as the Board Chair of the Collaborative for Fresh Produce and the United Way of Smith County Agency Directors Association and is the past Board Chair of Feeding Texas and the Association of Fundraising Professionals East Texas Chapter. Dennis earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management/ Business Concentration at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and his MBA at University of Phoenix.

Andrew Ayo
Chief Operating Officer

Andrew joined the East Texas Food Bank as Operations Director in June 2015 after 13 years in both Sales and Operations at Frito Lay. During his time at Frito Lay, Andrew served the East Texas and Tulsa areas while gaining valuable experience in team building, change management, customer/vendor relationships, multi-facility management, and budgetary/financial planning. In 2013, Andrew was the recipient of the national sales Ring of Honor award. He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. Andrew has spent most of his life in the East Texas area and currently resides in Tyler. He is very committed and proud of being part of an organization that serves the community in which he calls home

Sundi KissingerSundi Kissinger
Chief Financial Officer

Sundi joined the East Texas Food Bank in October 2022 as Chief Financial Officer.  Previously, she was the CFO for Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana and Wadley at Hope in Arkansas.  Sundi brings over 25 years of financial experience in GAAP & GASB financial analysis, financial policy and procedure development, budgeting and personnel management across various industries including healthcare, higher education, fulfillment, construction and manufacturing.   After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in Business, she and her husband returned to Tyler where she spent 13 years working for Trane as Controller.  They have raised their children in Tyler with both graduating from Robert E. Lee High School.  Sundi spent many years volunteering with her church, TISD Foundation, Girl Scouts, TISD PTA, and various organizations her children were involved in.  She grew up in Mineola and in 2017 created Mineola High School Alumni Memorial Scholarship Foundation which provides an annual scholarship to a graduating senior.  She currently serves as Board Treasurer. Sundi is excited to be a part of an organization whose mission it is to help feed hungry East Texans.

Tim Butler
Chief Impact Officer

Tim joined the East Texas Food Bank in August 2012 as the Volunteer Coordinator, coming from a management position at FRESH by Brookshire’s.  He has since worked in the Child Hunger Programs Department, and moved into his current role in 2017.  From an early age Tim has been involved in missions across the globe. He has a strong desire to help people in need, and is grateful to be part of an organization that makes such a big difference in the community.  Tim earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Tyler.

Comelita Neal
Chief Human Resource Officer

Comelita NealComelita joined the East Texas Food Bank in July 2022 as Chief Human Resources Officer bringing with her over 20 years of experience in Human Resources.  Over the years, she has worked as an HR manager, Director and Consultant in various arenas, ranging from oil and gas and higher education to private health care.  Comelita has always strived to help anyone she comes in contact with and continues her work today through her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., her church, and her neighborhood, instilling good ole’ homegrown East Texas values of community.  She believes that inclusion, love, compassion, understanding, diversity and communication are key to a successful team and credits that to her days of working as a grassroots professional with the City of Longview’s Drug Task Force.  Comelita received her Bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, with a B.A. in Communications. She and her husband have a set of lovely twin daughters and one wonderful granddaughter. She is grateful and proud to work for such an organization and feels that she is happily at home doing heart work striving to make a difference and committed to continuing to do for the community.
