Hunger is Real

Hunger Action Month PlateShare how you feel on an empty stomach

Everyone knows that feeling of an empty stomach.  Where there was no time for breakfast, or a meeting was booked over lunch.  Perhaps it's because there is just no food in the fridge to make a meal.  The feeling of running on empty is a reality for 48 million Americans today.  1 in 4 children and 1 in 5 adults in East Texas face that feeling on a regular basis.  We need to make sure that no child, adult or senior ever runs on empty.  Download a plate today, fill it out and share what you can't do on an empty stomach.  Then share what you CAN do to help end hunger.  Be sure to take a photo with your plate and post it to your social media networks with the #HungerActionMonth hashtag.
