Hunters for the Hungry kicks off this week
This weekend begins the start of deer hunting season in Texas, and the East Texas Food Bank is hoping participants will donate some of their venison through the Hunters for the Hungry (HFH) program. East Texas Chick-fil-A Restaurants Raise $40,000 for East Texas Food Bank During Hunger Action Month
Chick-fil-A restaurants across the Tyler-Longview, Lufkin & Nacogdoches market are celebrating an overwhelming response from local Guests following a September fundraiser benefiting the East Texas Food Bank. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints donate another 40,000 pounds of food to East Texas Food Bank
An 18-wheeler carrying approximately 40,000 pounds of assorted nonperishable food arrived at the East Texas Food Bank (ETFB) on Wednesday, October 14. Longview named winner in 3rd annual Spread The Love Peanut Butter Drive
Longview has won again in the third annual “Spread the Love Peanut Butter Drive,” a friendly competition between the cities of Longview and Tyler to support the East Texas Food Bank.
