Volunteer Recruiter/Development Associate
Angie Butterfield joined the East Texas Food Bank in June 2015 after working at PATH in Tyler, the Houston Food Bank and the Department of Agriculture as a Regional Marketing Specialist for the Dallas Region. While working for the Department of Agriculture, she was given the chance to attend one of the first certification classes offered by Austin Community College in Volunteer Management.
Sharlette Jones joined the East Texas Food Bank in February 2014 and is in charge of the Volunteer Center and many daily production tasks. Sharlette is responsible for the scheduling, supervision and over-all positive experience of the volunteer groups. While at the East Texas Food Bank, her responsibilities have grown from being a driver for both Retail Store and Mobile Pantry Programs to supervising the drivers and Product Recovery Assistants. Sharlette is very proud to be part of a team of Volunteers and Staff that she considers family at an organization she loves.
