Mobile Pantry Coordinator

The Mobile Pantry Coordinator (MPC) is responsible for the day-to-day execution of the East Texas Food Bank’s Mobile Pantry program. The MPC will identify underserved areas, recruit Mobile Pantry sponsors, train volunteers, provide oversight for distributions, coordinate SNAP, Nutrition Education and other community services for distributions, ensure timely and accurate food delivery to site locations, manage electronic and physical data files, assist with other distributions, and ensure compliance with all food safety requirements.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Non-profit experience preferred. Must be able to successfully network and foster a team environment. Technologically proficient. Intermediate skills in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to quickly learn new software systems. Specific knowledge of client databases & inventory software a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to identify problems, analyze information and implement solutions. Ability to professionally represent the Food Bank at community events. Self-starter, self-directed, and self-motivated with ability to multi-task. Excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to successfully teach and motivate others and work with diverse clientele. This position requires approximately 80% travel to outdoor distribution sites in a 26 county area. This position works Tuesday-Saturday.
