Woodforest Charitable Foundation supports ETFB BackPack Program
The Woodforest Charitable Foundation made a $20,000 gift to the ETFB to support the BackPack Programs throughout East Texas. The programs provide vital support for children over the weekends so they return to school Monday ready to learn.
Beaumont Foundation supports ETFB Fresh Produce Program
The Beaumont Foundation made a $50,000 donation to the ETFB Fresh Produce Program to help increase the amount of fresh, nutritious produce for distribution to agencies and clients throughout East Texas.
12th Annual Ice Bowl in Tyler gives back to ETFB
Tyler Parks and Recreation donated $1,600 to the East Texas Food Bank from funds raised in the 2018 Ice Bowl. The event was held at Lindsey Park in January 2018. In addition to funds, over 250 pounds of food was collected and donated. Since the first Ice Bowl in 2006, the event has raised over $17,600 to help feed those in need in East Texas.
Gorman McCracken donates to ETFB
Gorman McCracken Volkswagen Mazda presented the East Texas Food Bank with a check for $2,300. These funds will be used to “fight hunger and feed hope” in East Texas.
Star College of Cosmetology donates to ETFB
The students and faculty of Star College of Cosmetology donated $840 to the East Texas Food bank. The funds were raised through a bake sale. This donation will help provide 6,720 meals to children, families and seniors in need in East Texas. Star College has been donating to the East Texas Food Bank since 2009 and have raised a total of $12,680.
FRESH by Brookshires donates meals as part of “FRESH Shares” campaign
FRESH by Brookshires ran a yearlong campaign called FRESH Shares and partnered with the East Texas Food Bank to help feed those in need. Each time a Green Plate Special was ordered, FRESH donated the equivalent of 1 meal to the East Texas Food Bank. FRESH exceeded their goal of 10,000 meals and presented the ETFB with $1,324.44, which provides 11,037 meals.
Indian Association of East Texas donates to ETFB
The Indian Association of East Texas donated $2,500 to help those in need in East Texas. The funds were raised at an annual banquet held by the organization. This is the third year the Indian Association has made this generous contribution.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car makes $10,000 donation to ETFB
Enterprise Rent-A-Car recently made a $10,000 donation to the East Texas Food Bank as part of their “Fill The Tank” campaign. Enterprise Rent-A-Car has a corporate philosophy of “No Child Should Go Hungry” and supports huner relief organizations. Approximately 80,000 meals will be provided through the donation to children, families and seniors in East Texas
StreamFlow makes donation of $2,000 to ETFB for partners
StreamFlo presented a $2,000 donation to the East Texas Food Bank recently. The funds will help provide meal to children, families and seniors through our partner agencies located in Gregg County.
