ETFB Day at Jack Ryan's Steakhouse

JackRyansHelp support the East Texas Food Bank by eating lunch or dinner at Jack Ryan's Steak & Chophouse in Tyler on Thursday, November 9th.  A portion of food sales during the day will go to the ETFB, and a special dinner will be served with celebrity waiters from 6:00pm to 9:00pm in the evening.

Whataburger holding Hurricane Harvey relief effort to benefit ETFB

Whataburger logoOn Friday, September 8th participating Whataburger locations in East Texas will donate 100% of sales from 11:00am to 1:00pm to the East Texas Food Bank.  Funds raised will go towards disaster relief efforts along the Gulf Coast from Hurricane Harvey in August.  Have a great lunch and help those in need!
Participating Whataburger restaurants in Athens, Bullard, Chandler, Crockett, Gilmer, Gun Barrel City, Henderson, Jacksonville, Kilgore, Lindale, Longview, Malakoff, Mineola, Palestine, Rusk, Tyler and White Oak are included.

Applebee's Gives Back to Texas Food Banks during August

ApplebeesJoin participating Applebee's restaurants for their "August is Applebee's Give Back Month" campaign.  For each regularly priced entree purchased during the month of August, Applebee's will provide 1 meal to a Texas food bank, like the East Texas Food Bank.  Only full priced, non-discounted entrees purchased at regular menu price count towards the donation.  Visit an East Texas Applebee's locations in Tyler, Athens, Longview, Palestine, Lufkin and Marshall to participate.

Vote for the East Texas Food Bank in the CTCU "Do Good" campaign

CTCU LogoThe East Texas Food Bank is one of the nearly 50 organizations that can benefit from the Cooperative Teachers Credit Union (CTCU) "Do Good" campaign.  Each day through August 18th, voters can help their favorite organization secure "rewards" ranging from $500 to $3,500.  A total of $10,000 will be awarded to 5 local nonprofits to support them in carrying out their missions of hope, help and service to people in need. Vote once each day!

Dine at Applebee's Palestine and help feed East Texans

ApplebeesTake the family out to dinner at Applebee's in Palestine and help feed our hungry neighbors in East Texas.  For every 8 meals sold at Applebee's in Palestine (dine-in or carry out) during May and June, $1 will be donated to the East Texas Food Bank.  That's enough to provide 8 meals for chldren, families and seniors who don't know where their next meal is coming from!

Fourth Annual "Family ReULion" Charity Jam to benefit ETFB

Uncle Lucius Family ReulionThe fourth annual Uncle Lucius Family ReULion will take place on Friday April 7th and Saturday April 8th at Durango's Canyon in Mt. Enterprise.  Several bands including Willow James, Zac Wilkerson, Folk Family Revival, Aaron Stephens, Midnight River Choice, James Bally, David Baxter and The New Offenders will join Uncle Lucius for the two day event.

Gates open at 5:00pm with the show starting at 6:30pm on Friday.  Gates open at 9:00am with the show starting at 10:15am on Saturday.  Admission is $45 for both days.  $15 for Friday only, $35 for Saturday only.  Proceeds will benefit the East Texas Food Bank.

Panda Express in Tyler hosting giveback for ETFB

"Fling A Disc" with Tyler Parks & Rec and help fight hunger

The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department is inviting players of all levels to fling a Ice Bowldisc for the East Texas Food Bank during the 2017 Ice Bowl Disc Golf Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 21. The event will be held at Lindsey Park located at 12557 Spur 364 W.  Registration begins at 9 a.m. The fee is $25 per player for participants 18 years of age and older. For participants ages 17 and younger, the fee is $15 per player. A player package is provided for each participant. Tee time is 10 a.m.  More information and registration
