"Fighting Hunger Together" concert in Athens

Walmart in Athens will host "Fighting Hunger Together", a live concert benefitting the East Texas Food Bank, on Saturday May 26th. Adam Fears is the featured artist and will take the stage at 4PM. Events will start at noon in the Athens Walmart parking lot, 1405 East Tyler Street, with Loose Horses, Kyle Lane and James Derek also performing.
Admission is free with a nonperishable food or monetary donation.

Get ready to help "Stamp Out Hunger" on May 12

The National Associate of Letter Carriers will celebrate their 20th year of the annual "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive on Saturday, May 12th. The largest one-day food drive in the nation, the East Texas Food Bank receives a large supply of food that is collected from our neighborhood letter carriers. It's simple to participate. Simply leave your non-perishable, canned items in a bag outside on or near your mailbox on Saturday, May 12th.

Tyler Rotary Club readying big, tasty fundraiser

The Rotary Club of Tyler is preparing for its biggest fundraiser of the year: the annual Chili Cook-Off. The event raised over $20,000 last year, with funds donated to several nonprofits including the East Texas Food Bank. Liberty Tax Service having "Roadside Party" to benefit East Texas Food Bank

Liberty Tax Service in Longview will hold a Roadside Party Friday, March 23th. Liberty will offer free tax returns in exchange for donating 10 non-perishable items or $20 to the East Texas Food Bank. Lots of food, games and prizes will also be offered along with a chance to win several raffle prizes. Liberty Tax Service is located at 1714 High Street in Longview.

Half Moon Grill & Saloon helping to feed East Texas

The Half Moon Grill & Saloon in Tyler will be holding a food and fund drive for the East Texas Food Bank on Monday, March 19th. Join Macy's and help "Bag Hunger"

Macy's in helping the East Texas Food Bank by participating in the "Bag Hunger" corporate campaign from March 7th-March 26th. The Tyler Macy's Team will be accepting nonperishable food items and monetary donations to donate. Macy's corporate will also match donations of $25 or more. Donations can be made at Macy's at 4700 S. Broadway in Tyler.

Tyler Parks & Recreation present the 7th Annual "Ice Bowl" benefiting the East Texas Food Bank. Players will "fling a disc" Saturday, January 21 at Lindsey Park Disc Golf Course (1255 Spur 364W) in Tyler. Registration begins at 9AM with tee time at 10AM. Fees are $25 per player with youth 16 and under $15. Get a registration form.

Souper Bowl of Caring Food Drive with Kroger

Help Fill The Banks this month

East Texans are asked to step up and help Fill the Banks, both the East Texas Food Bank and Carter BloodCare, by giving blood and food. The needs are greater than ever before. Across the nation and in our own community, the East Texas Food Bank and Carter BloodCare needs are near record levels. So to help those in need, we are asking for East Texans to help. During the month of January, join Representative Leo Berman, The City of Tyler and Smith County to help Fill the Banks.

"Tyler's Best" wedding expo benefits East Texas Food Bank
