Our Programs The East Texas Food Bank cares about children, families, and seniors who do not have enough food to eat. Everyday, the Food Bank works to feed people through a variety of programs and services.

For Child Hunger
	BackPack Program: Providing food for kids over theweekends.
	Kids Cafe: An after-school feeding program providing nutritious meals to children in a safe setting.
	Summer Food Service Program: Ensures children who receive meals during the school year continue to receive nutritious meals in the summer.

Nutrition Education: Promoting a long term solution to hunger and poor nutritional habits.:Other Food Bank Programs

Outreach & Enrollment: Working to ensure that all eligible East Texans have the knowledge and benefits of the SNAP, formerly known as the Food Stamp Program.

Other Programs

Rural Outreach & Delivery: Delivers food from the Food Bank to strategic sites in outlying communities enabling rural agencies to better benefit from membership with the East Texas Food Bank.

Produce People Care: Distributes fresh fruits and vegetables to clients through partner agencies. In the past five years, fresh produce distribution has grown from 700,000 pounds a year to over 3 million pounds a year.
