Holidays 2008

In today’s struggling economy, we need your help more than ever to make sure our

hungriest neighbors have meals to eat this holiday season. The difficult economy

will make Christmas even harder for neighbors here in 26 East Texas counties who

already struggle to put food on their tables.

In the next few weeks, 100,000 children, families, seniors, and others in need will

be counting on us to provide food for Christmas dinner or other meals through our

network of agencies. And we’re counting on you.

For just $1, you can help provide enough food for 8 meals for a hungry child or

adult. That means your gift of $11 can deliver 88 meals! Just think how many

people you could help with a gift of $22, or even $33!

When we look back at 2008, it’s exciting to see the impact that has been made

through our partnership with 200 local agencies – and you, our compassionate

friends. Together, we’ve provided 15,000,000 pounds of food to hungry people.
