This summer has been extremely hard on the East Texas Food Bank, and we need immediate support to help the growing number of hungry neighbors who depend on us.

Children are out of school, without the benefit of school meals. Seniors are struggling to put food on the table.  Unemployment and increased cost of living have put a heavier burden on everyone.

To make matters worse, the amount of donated food that usually comes our way is down.

Despite our strained resources, we are determined to continue to meet the ongoing needs of our hungry neighbors in these tough times.

But we simply can't do it alone.

Please help now--every $1 you give will help provide food for 8 meals.

Your generous gift will be put to work immediately to help the 200 partner agencies which rely on us to distribute food to 26 East Texas counties.

It will help ensure that children will enjoy the summer without the pain of hunger. That hardworking families can struggle less to put a meal on the table. And that seniors and others on limited incomes can survive in this harsh economy.
