Thousands of hungry children and their families are depending on us this Thanksgiving season.
 
As the Thanksgiving season approaches, support from partners like you is vital to supplying the 4,000,000 pounds of food hungry children, families, seniors and others in 26 East Texas counties will need from our network of partner agencies over the next three months.

Just $1 can help provide enough food for 8 meals! Imagine how many hungry people you could help with a gift of $10 or $25 or even $100!

Here’s how your gift to the 2010 Annual Thanksgiving Campaign of the East Texas Food Bank will touch thousands of lives here in East Texas:

1. Provide more than 20 million pounds of food for hungry people all over 26 East Texas counties for the next 12 months.
2. Provide our area’s seniors with food, so they don’t have to choose between buying medication and eating.
3. Provide food for children, improving their ability to learn, and offering healthy food for the weekend through the backpack program.
4. Help some of our area’s hardest-working parents “make ends meet” by supplementing the groceries they are able to buy with food distributed through our network of partner agencies.
