About Us
The mission of the East Texas Food Bank is to reduce hunger by providing food, support and education to those in need with passion and efficiency.

Since 1988, the East Texas Food Bank, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has provided food to over 200 partner agencies, in an effort to feed children, the working poor and seniors throughout
26 counties in East Texas.

In 2010, 19.5 million pounds of food was distributed to hungry East Texans equaling 15 million meals. 1 in 4 children, 1 in 5 adults and 1 in 7 seniors in East Texas are "at-risk of hunger".
